Stryker HipMap and HipCheck
Dr. Hommen utilizes advanced imaging techniques prior to surgery to create a map of the hip joint using the Stryker "HipMap" system. This allows for patient-specific femoroacetabulum impingement (FAI) planning, tailored to address each patient's unique bony anatomy. Then during surgery, the Stryker "HipCheck" guides the intraoperative technique to ensure appropriate and adequate resection of the pre-planned sites of impingement. These advancements have truly revolutionized hip arthroscopy.
